Pup: Ziggy

Happy New Year!  I just saw all of the adorable puppies and I must say, it makes me want another one.  Of course, I would have to find a new husband, as we have a total of 3 dogs, but Ziggy is by far the best!!!

As I am writing to you, he is sound asleep having been outside in the snow running around like a madman.  He is so funny.  As soon as he knows that it is snowing, he sits at the sliding glass door gazing out and then barks until someone lets him out.  It's amost impossible to get him back in. 
I cannot tell you how happy we are to have Ziggy in our lives.  It was worth the two sofa's, pillows, carpet, etc.  He is such a sweetie.

Your web site is so wonderful now.  It is so great to see how even at such a young age, you can already tell so much about their temperments.  Of course, Ziggy has by far the best temperment of any other OES.

My daughter is sending along a few pictures of Ziggy.  Feel free to post them so that everyone can see how beautiful our baby is!  By the way, if you ever get the chance, we are from New York, not New Jersey as it is presently.

Dear Sue and Hans,

Congratulations! I just happened to look at your web site and found those  adorable pups! Kind of brought me back to when Ziggy was a puppy (which of  course he still is). He has turned into the most wonderful guy! What a  personality! He's 20 months now and has finally given up the chewing! Soon,  we'll be able to put a way the lawn furniture and get real furniture again! I cannot begin to tell you what a wonderful disposition he has. I have loved all of my other OES's but Ziggy has by far the sweetest disposition.  His herding instinct is so strong that much to Mimi and Sophie( yes we now  have my mother's Westie as she moved into a building that doesn't allow  dogs) dismay, Ziggy herds them all over the house and backyard. It's quite a sight.

WE had to have him clipped this spring because he doesn't care much for being brushed and so he became matted. He is starting grow back in so now he looks a bit like BIG BIRD!  Everyone in the family loves him to pieces. My oldest daughter, Jaimie is absolutely over the moon about him. He loves everyone but he "dogs" my every footstep and I know that he is going to be under my feet constantly.  Finding you was such an opportunity! Thanks once more for Ziggy. He's the  best!
