Hi Sue,
Thank you for letting me come visit you on the farm back in May. It was
wonderful to meet you and all the sheepdogs. It has been really hot down
here in Oklahoma lately, and the dogs favorite thing lately is to fight over
the air conditioning vent on the floor of the kitchen and who ever loses
that battle gets the box fan. Sydney loves to stick her whole head in the
water bucket and when we go to the lake it is almost impossible to get her
to come out of the water. Even after they have come up and dried off and I
am loading up the truck to go home she disappears and comes back all soaking
wet and then I have a wet dog in the truck, at least she falls asleep as
soon as the truck starts to move. In the last 2 weeks her coat is beginning
to turn silver starting at her shoulders and moving down her back. I know
she must get hot but I want to see her beautiful coat come in and she spends
most of her time inside during the heat of the day or outside in the pool.
When I give her a bath she lays down in the tub and practically falls
asleep, she is so silly and scary smart. She is already the same height as
2 yr old Meiggie and is only getting bigger every day. Tomorrow is her first
trip to the groomer so she will have fun, but she will be going to the vet
soon to get spayed. Anyways I hope things in Saskatchewan are well and I
hope it has started to warm up a bit. Are you expecting any puppies soon?
Please feel free to post this letter and pictures on the descendants page
and use me for a reference.
Take care and God Bless.
Sincerely,
Danielle Duguid, Meiggie and Sydney and the Clydesdale Duke!!!!
