Name: Murphy
State: Illinois
Owner: Janice and family

Hi Sue and family,

I think of you often and have kept you in my prayers for better health.  Hopefully, you are feeling much better and are on your way to recovery.

I have checked in often with your website and am thrilled the "Mom"s" have gone to great homes in the US and Canada.  Looks as though new puppies are thriving everywhere.

You have done a wonderful job with your breeding and I'm sure you are confident the new owner's will follow in your footsteps....

Here are a few pictures of our Murphy who will be TWO on March 12th....He is so handsome and huge....the pictures don't do his size justice.  He stops traffic when we walk ....

You can see he still thinks he is a puppy as he sits on my husband's lap in the recliner chair.  He doesn't know how heavy he is.  He loves to sit up there with my husband most nights.

He still has boundless energy and keeps us on our toes with his playfulness.  He is gentle but his size makes him too strong around our two and four year old grandchildren.  He needs bigger playmates.

Hello to all his soon to be "two year old siblings"....would love to see some updated pictures of others from that litter.

Hugs to you,

Hi Sue.....

I checked your website and looks as though you are having a peaceful summer so far....

Just wanted to update you on Murphy.....He was one on March 12th and just went today for his second year checkup and update on shots.....

He weighs 100 lbs. and is 27" high at his shoulders.....Isn't he on the upper end of the sheepdog scale?????  He is so handsome.....he is the only sheepdog patient of our vet's office and the whole staff is just crazy about him....He knows NO STRANGERS....loves and kisses any and all who give him attention.  He is very laid back with the vet and lets him poke and proud in his mouth, ears, etc.

How big was his mother, Thora and his Dad, Buri?

He is so happy with all other dogs....never a mean bone in his body ......

He has settled down at home.....no more chewing on the furniture at least...ha...still has an eye out for socks or underwear to eat......at least we keep our house picked up....when the grandkids come they even know to keep their socks on their feet or put them up high....

He can surf any countertop or tabletop in our house.....

I love reading any new updates on his litter mates and cousins.....look forward to your next new litters.....

Thanks again for giving us a lovable , BIG, sheepie.....

Hi Sue...

You have been a 'BUSY' Lady.....39 pups going and 12 more to raise.....They are all so adorable....wish we could have ten more....ha...

Murphy will be one year old on March 11-12th....He is so beautiful.....a real addition to our family.  He will be spending one week with our daughter and her family while we travel to CA for a week.  I'm already missing him.....

He is settling down....still a puppy at times....just ate a pair of my husband's reading glasses....he's not a happy camper as I type....we were both gone and I guess he decided he needed to read smaller print.....

I am in awe at how you have handled so many pups at one time.....There are a lot of happy families getting new puppies this past week and soon to come....

We are always here for a reference....

 Keeping in touch...

Hi Sue....
Trying to figure out how to email some new pics of Murphy... He is soon to be 4 1/2 months and full of the dickens! He is almost 50 lbs.  quite good looking I must admit.... Very playful....I need a couple of older kids to play with him during the day....He won't let me alone if I'm home alone with him.... He finally has the run of the house ....sleeps on the fireplace hearth most of the night and ends up in our room before daylight.... We have only been to school once as I had a gallbladder attack and missed two more lessons...hope to go this Weds night...He is not good at "No".....still jumps up and we have tried the knee to the chest to no avail...he is strong and determined.... Still too playful around our young grandchildren....we keep them separated and he hates that.... Sure hope Lucas got along better this time after surgery.... I worry Murphy is going to be next....he wants to eat rocks...and we definitely give him lots of good chewies and food....don't know what nurishment he is looking for with small rocks.... Hope you can get this picture.... Have the newest pups left yet?????

Hi Sue.... Well, its official...Murphy has been baptized and two of our friends who are Dominican and Franciscan nuns came over and welcomed him into our home .....They are just crazy over him....even though he likes to play hard.....He is growing like a weed...we think he weighs around 20 lbs or so....He loves to eat.....only feeding him three times a day .....so hope he is getting enough.... He is doing well on pottying....knows where he is to do his job but still not able to tell me...ha...guess for nine weeks he still can't talk....he loves to go on evening walks around the neighborhood....smells and smells...but only potties in his own back yard...too funny.... I think he knows his name.....at least he comes when called....He is still terrorizing the two cats and I know they would love for him to get lost....they hide until he is put up for bedtime....then out they come to prowl and smell everything he has touched.... He loves his showers...hates the blow dryer.....but towel drying is fast.... He hops in and out of the "doggy van" like a pro....loves to lay flat on the floor or hop up into the passenger seat....yes, he can get up on that seat.... I am not used to the morning hours...he is up around 6:15 a.m. and that definitely is the highlight of his day....up and ready to play for a couple of hours...I can't leave him out of site as he is into anything that is loose.... We love his personality and his cute little face with the bandit eyes.... Glad all is going well with Stella and Bella...look those two rhyme.... Jan in Illinois
