Greetings from Seattle!

It's so great to hear from you.  I'm so glad things are going well and that you're finally bringing all of us "family members" together.

Phoebe and Kato have been a complete joy.  They are wonderful dogs with great personalities.  Being only a year apart, both are enjoying puppy antics and have a strong bond though sometimes I think they are in denial - particularly during those times when they're wrestling.

Phoebe is over a year and a half now.  She's grown into a fine girl with a great smile and adorable quirks.  Kato is our new boy (we got him from you this June) and had made himself very much at home.  He's already a monster - 67 lbs at 7 months!  Needless to say, he's catching up to Phoebe (who is about 80 lbs) and will definitely have the size advantage in those wrestling matches very soon.

When Kato arrived at our home, we had a hard time thinking of a good name for him.  With those cute black patches over his eyes and ears, we were thinking of a masked-marvel -- Batman, Zorro...and finally Kato who was Bruce Lee's character in the Green Hornet.  Kato is definitely "Personality #1" as Hans put it.  He is much more bold, inquisitive and vocal :).  Kato has a very happy personality and loves to hang out with his pal, Phoebe.

I would love to see pictures of your dogs, particularly your newer addition Monty, whom we did not meet when we visited.  I hope everyone is doing well and preparing for the winter.  Phoebe loves snow and I hope to introduce Kato to it this year.
