Here are some pictures of Halligan in the tub.  You  have to be very careful when we take a bath or shower because you might just get an uninvited guest to bathe with you.  Halligan loves the tub!!  He goes out in the backyard to roll in the dirt and sand just so we will give him a bath.  He is definitely the cleanest dog on our block.  He weighs 34# but looks like such a small rat when he's all wet.  The good thing is he keeps all the water in the tub.  When's finished we towel dry him off and then it's time to be blow dried.  Halligan also loves the blow dryer.  I hope he out grows that because it is a 45 minute job and he's still a baby.  What will we do when he gets bigger??  Just thought you might like to know what a super clean pup we have.

My wife Cheryl and I recently received one of Loki's puppies from Sue and her family.  We purchased it for our daughter's family - they live in Las Vegas, Nevada.  We also have an OES ourselves here in Chicago.  Big Jake will be two years old this May and came from a breeder in Dunbar, Wisconsin.  With our two children now grown, Jake is our baby, is spoiled beyond belief and loved like no other dog we've had.  There is just something about this breed.  The reason we went to Sue for our daughter's dog was the travel arrangements.  She had Halagan delivered to Las Vegas via Air Canada where we met him and delivered him to our daughter's family.  If you have any reservations about getting one of her dogs, let us put those fears to rest right now.  While we love our Jake, after spending four days with Halagan before we headed back to Chicago, it was very evident to us that this puppy was a product of a breeder who truly loves her dogs and not one who is in it for the money.  While we waited for our daughter and her family to get home (it was a surprise delivery which Sue was very helpful with), Halagan got a chance to check out his new home.  We went for a walk to the local doggie park where everyone brings their dogs to play and exercise, and Halagan stayed right at our heels both going and coming back - no leash necessary.  He came when called and to this day has yet to have an accident in the house.  He was at the Vet's yesterday for his second shot and now weighs in at 22 lbs (he was about 15 lbs when we delivered him).  Our grandkids are having the time of their lives with him and our daughter and her fiance couldn't be happier.  He's had his picture taken at the firehouse (my future son-in-law is a firefighter) and has become their mascot.  He's been to Picture People where they were so pleased with the pictures and surprised with his behavior that he's been entered in a national photo contest.  The local trainer at Pet Smart wanted to know where he came from, not only because there aren't many OES in Las Vegas, but because he was so well behaved for a puppy that age.  As we have told Sue, Halagan's adoption was truly a unique and thoroughly enjoyable experience and we won't hesitate to get another one of her pups.  They are truly a product of a dedicated family who enjoys breeding these dogs for the happiness and joy they bring to others.  Sorry that I've rambled on for so long, but I hope this has told you a little bit about the trust we placed in Sue and how that trust was rewarded.  Good luck.

Hi Sue,

Haven't had a reason to write recently but hope this finds you and your family well.  We visit your site regularly and always enjoy the new pictures which is what prompted me to write now.  Attached is a photo we took last night after a hard day of romping in the back yard.  Our Jake is on the left and Halligan is on the right.  As you can see, they have become best buddies and we never see one without the other.  Our daughter's new home will be done in a few months so Halligan will be moving out but we're sure to make regular visits back and forth with the dogs so they can continue to be best buddies.  Bye for this time,

Mike & Cheryl Caraynoff
