I happened upon the OES forum where the subject of your website and breeding program came up.  While I don't post on the forum, I wanted to send you a copy of the email I sent to Laika's mother in your defense.  Bella is an incredible puppy and I couldn't be happier.  She turned 6 months old Dec 13.  Here's what I sent:

 

 Hi,

I often read the posts from the forum but never have posted.  My name is Mary and I live in Arizona .  I got a puppy from Saga, who lives now in San Francisco.  Her name is Bella and she turned 6 months old last week. 

    My experience with Sue and Kay was absolutely wonderful and Bella is, so far, the best OES I have ever had.  Now, I have to qualify that by saying I have only had one other puppy, and got him from a Backyard Breeder 16 years ago when I didn't really know any better.  He was a great dog and lived until almost 13.  I have had 4 rescues who all have had a myriad of problems.  Currently I have JoJo, a 5 year old deaf OES (who has brown eyes and not a white head, by the way) who was bred by a reputable breeder who refused to take her back.  She is a wonderful dog.

    Bella is happy, healthy and has the most awesome temperament of any dog I have ever known.  She loves people, dogs, cats, children of all ages.  She is a favorite at the dog park I take her to because she is rambunctious enough to romp with the Great Danes, yet gentle enough to coax the timid, smaller dogs to play with her.  She will let little children run up and grab her fur and doesn't even knock them down.  (Not that I think little children running in the dog park is a good thing!)

     She has been in Puppy classes at Petsmart with me since she was 10 weeks and learns fast and eagerly.  Once again, a favorite where ever I take her.

     I would not worry about Laika or what some of the people on the forum are saying.  Everyone has opinions, some of them very strong.  I did what you did, felt very comfortable with Sue and am very happy with Bella and would consider getting another dog from her if I were going to get another.

     I hope this also helps.  I'm going to send a copy of this email to Sue, as well, as she has gotten a lot of bashing on the forum.  Feel free to email me if you choose.  If Laika is anything like Bella, she does kind of look like her, I know how much you love her!
