The trip home was uneventful, he was very happy to be on ground, took to his new home right away, is responding well to instruction, and is providing us with endless laughs.  First vet visit is on Nov 2,  gets a regular checkup and the next round of shots.  We finally settled on the name Lucas, Luke for short and he really seems to like it!
