 Hi Sue:

Just finished reviewing your web site as it's been ages since I had time to see what you have been up too. Looks like you have a lot  going on especially if you breed all three ladies in June.  How many people are on your waiting list for your next litters?  After seeing all the black and white bundles of joy on your web site I get that Old English Sheepdog desire to have a puppy again, but I know I can't as  Saddie and Ivie are more than enough to handle and care for.  But the puppies are just so cute, I just want one or two.  Plus where we live if you have three dogs you are considered a kennel and must pay much higher fees for licenses.  Not that that is a real problem,
but if I could, I'd have a zillion OES as they are just so loving and dedicated.  Who wouldn't want as much affection as they can get?

Ivie has turned into a loving and caring dog, she's 4-1/2 now, still a  crazy car rider and so anxious to do anything that involves going somewhere.  Lately she's turned into a  chipmunk/squirrel watcher and spends hours waiting for them to come down the tree after she's cased them up it.  The first thing she does when we let her out in the morning is run as fast as she can to the wood pile where the chipmunks and squirrels call home.  We just stop and laugh at her thinking she'd ever be able to catch one of them, she is fast, but they are faster.  If only she could climb a tree.

She and Saddie get along great, although Saddie is 7 and is starting to just want to relax and take life easy and then Ivie  comes along and starts pulling on her collar or ears and tries to get Saddie to chase her and play.  Most of the time Saddie gets mad enough and does what Ivie wants and that is to chase her and it turns into play.

Well I better go now as I've taken far too much of your time.  Just thought I'd let you know how Ivie is doing.

Thanks for always keeping in touch.

Jane, Ivie and Saddie Nevils

Dear Sue:

Thank you for the e-mail and the hamock picture, Bragi is just adorable. Is she going to be one of your mothers? She has great markings.

Ivie and Saddie are having a great summer although recently we have had very, warm weather and Saddie especially feels the heat. Pants alll
night and sleeps under the ceiling fan in my room. We have a swimming pool and both go in for a dip under our supervision but Ivie loves it
and will sit for hours on the steps of the pool half in the water and half out. Saddie can't seem to get the knack of swimming, she is butt
heavy and sinks.

We have put an offer in on a two acre parcel of land with great house just outside of Stayner and if we can sell our house in town it will be
so great for Ivie and Saddie to have space to explore and run around in. We'll be giving up our swim pool but boy will they have fun. Lots of
birds and squirrels to chase. I can't imaging trying to keep those two OES dogs clean.

Thanks again for the e-mail and the invitation to visit. I would love to travel out west sometime and for sure stop to see you and all the OES
dogs. You better not have any for sale when I come to visit or I would probably want to bring another one back to Ontario. My husband would
then divorce me as two is more than enough, and three would mean I totally insane.

Bye for Now,
Jane Nevils, Saddie & Ivie

Dear Sue:

Thank you for the up-date.  It would be so great if you could do all the things that you talked about in your e-mail.  I know the day I picked up Ivie at Toronto International Airport there were two other puppies (Ivies brothers or sisters) waiting to be picked up as well.  I would love to know how they are making out, plus I like to know how things are at your place and how any new litters are doing.  I often get asked where I got Ivie from and I would be glad to give a reference or give someone your address so they can be as happy with an OES puppy as I am with Ivie. I just dropped a new roll of film off and it has several pictures of Ivie and Saddie, if any look really good I'll forward you some.  FYI Stayner Ontario is 100 miles straight north of Toronto if you are looking for it on a map.

Thanks again for keeping in touch and I will be writing or mailing back some info for you in the near future.  Good Luck with your web site and the business.
