Hi
Sue!
Everyone knows the cliche "love at first sight", but I don't think anyone
has experienced it the way we did when we first laid eyes on our puppy,
Tucker. The 7 hour drive to Anne Marie's house in New York was well worth
it, to say the least! Tucker was a gem the whole drive home, and we received
no less than two dozen comments about him during our brief stop in Kingston.
Tucker is fitting in very well here in Petawawa, Ontario. Our two cats,
Atticus and Zora, are less than fond of him (despite his persistence at
trying to make them his play-mates), but I don't think he really minds. He
is a very smart boy, and at nine weeks old he already knows the commands
"sit", "down", "come", "jump", and "wave". We are working very hard on
bell-training him to go outside, and he is starting to get the idea
(although sometimes he forgets if he is supposed to ring the bell before or
after he pees in the house!).
He is the most perfect puppy we could have ever imagined. He is growing very
quickly, but unlike many other dog breeds, we know he'll never outgrow his
puppy-ish nature and cute appearance. To say we are obsessed with him would
be a grand understatement, but I think you get the idea!
Thanks for your help and support in helping us find the best puppy, and for
being so accommodating and allowing us to bring him home at the very best
time for us.
We'll be in touch!!
