Sue Peterson founded this website in 1999 and strived to provide families with the healthiest possible OES puppies, not conforming to the political agendas of the OES Club of America or the American or Canadian misleading purebred registration programs. Instead Sue only bred dogs with the highest possible standards of genetic health and guaranteed her pups accordingly. Attempts for other breeders to take on her breeding program later in the 2000's were unsuccessful and Sue kept Knut from her last litter of pups June 2007. In winter of 09-10 Sue took Knut and Bragi with her to Vancouver Island where they amazingly met up with four of Bragis pups in different parks and walking trails. It has been wonderful experience to meet some of the very fortunate families who have adopted her pups over the years. Bragi is now a certified therapy dog, working with mentally ill, the very young and the very old. Knut is in the process of becoming certified and they bring joy everywhere they visit. Following serious family health problems Sue is now planning to leave the farm and build a new life in Saskatoon. She has Knut, Bragi and Sif to keep her company and also plans to take a trip south through the US this winter - maybe we'll meet up with more offspring along the way. Apologies for not being able to respond to emails etc. the last few years, your understanding is greatly appreciated, this has been a very difficult time.
