To New Families:
I thank you in advance for your patience during
this transition period of time. As a result of personal health
issues I have made some very hard decisions which I am beginning
to see will actually turn out to be for the best for everyone and
every dog involved. Until late spring 2006 I ask for all
communication and finances to be completed via myself. As female
dogs are bred they will go to live with their new families who
will continue breeding them under the same standards and offering
the same guarantees as I have established.
If
you are interested in owning one of our pups
please tell us about your family,
your home and the surroundings you have in preparation for a new
puppy. I like to know that each of our pups goes to a loving and
safe home where they will bring countless joy to their new owners
for many years. To find our more about how we care for the puppies
and hope their new families will too, please read
Puppy Tips.
The
oldest OES I have heard of was 16 years. I have also heard many
heartache stories about OES who have died at a very young age, too
often the same couple of breeders are being identified! Missouri,
Ontario and Saskatchewan beware! If you have lost an OES due to
health concerns please let me know so I may put
you in touch with any other families who have encountered the same
health problems with the same breeders.
We
like to know about the prospective family and the home they have
waiting for their new OES before committing to sell a pup. New
owners can then send a $100 deposit to hold a pup from the next
litter. Pups are then made available to their new owners in order
that deposits were received. If we cannot supply the sex of pup
you desire we will refund your deposit or hold it for the next
litter at your preference. I do not refund deposits because
certain markings are not available as that is a personal
preference and my goal is to breed healthy pup regardless of a
whether they have a black eye or some other marking. We will be
posting pictures and movies of our new puppies on the website for
their new owners to select the pup of their choice and experience
"virtual bonding".
Steps to Purchasing a Puppy
The price of pups is $900, that is
$900 CAD for Canadian families and for US families $900 US $. If
you require a pup to fly to its new destination then each breeder
is happy to quote flight costs, usually under $150. Plus are
required to travel in an approved airline crate for which we ask
you to send an additional $50 which we then refund if you return
the crate prepaid to the respective breeder. To see which breeder
can most easily arrange flights to your destination check out our
pup flight chart on the home page.
An example of travel costs is
Saskatoon to Toronto $150 Saskatoon to Vancouver $125. There are
huge advantages to our dogs moving to new homes, puppies will be
born on east and west coasts and thereby make travel far easier
and less stressful for all pups, although pups have always taken
the travel in their stride with no consequences. In fact many
travelers have commented that the pups must be sedated – which
they definitely are not – as they are so calm in transit!.

Please
tell us about your family and the loving environment our puppies
will make their new home.
Upon confirmation from the Peterson family, a pup will be held for
you and you will then be contacted on how and where payments can
be made. We have established both Canadian and American bank
accounts. In USA,
PayPal, the Bank of America
and in Canada, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. You can then
make a direct deposit to their account, either a deposit and
balance at a later date, or the full payment of a pup. They will
verify the transaction and confirm receipt to you immediately. You
will also be put in touch with the new breeders and included in
the network of adopting families all waiting for pups, where many
friendships have developed. In spring of 2006 you will be able to
contact them directly from this website.
