 Archie
was first brought from me around year 2000 by Kerry Dominguez of
4962 Cherry Street, Stouffeville On. By the time he was a year
old Kerry and her family (husband and three sons) decided
to give up Archie to a rescue organization. Kerry never
contacted me as his breeder, had she done so I would have found
Archie a home as I have with the 2-3 other families who have had
to part with their pups for various reasons. Lillian came
to Archie's rescue, they picked him up and gave him a loving home with
her husband and young daughter. Lillian contacted me immediately
and often sent e-mails to keep in touch on what a great dog
Archie was.
In August 2003
Kerry contacted the rescue organization and asked for another
OES as she wished she hadn't parted with Archie. Then Kerry
contacted Lillian to inquire about OES. Apparently Kerry
had a Cockapoo who had been killed by a car just recently and
she wanted to replace it. Then Kerry contacted me! She
lied to me that Archie was such a wonderful dog, her youngest
son had learnt to walk with him, he was there beside her and her
kids loved him so much and as they were off to school now she
wanted another pup to train just like Archie!
When
I confronted Kerry about her lying she defended it as being
justified as her husband had taken a stroke at the time and couldn't
work and she had cancer and couldn't work either! Her friend
told her to lie to me so she did! Now she and her husband are
both well again and want another Archie!
I owe a huge
thank you to Lillian, and I hope that all of our pups will
always live in such happy homes as Archie. If anyone is aware of
any of our dogs being given up for rescue or neglected
in any way I want to know about it. If any of our families find
themselves in a situation where they need to find a home for
their OES call me, life is not always a bed of roses and
through our network of loving OES families we can always find
loving homes - and ensure that pups do not get adopted by
people who teach their children that dogs are disposable!
